Prestwick Chase is a 55+ retirement community located in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are looking for a reliable experienced line cook to join our team. This role will directly assist the Executive Chef, following their specifications and guidelines and play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our diners’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
-Produce high quality plates both in design and taste
-Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standards
-Stock inventory appropriately
-Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and diners
Key Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Proven excellence in kitchen and staff management
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and speed in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
