The opportunities are available at A Child's Place Albany location. $2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS for those eligible Responsibilities: Lead classroom teacher for integrated UPK classroom and our UPK only classroom. Implement lesson plans and activities for the classroom. As the lead teacher, work collaboratively with Special Education Teacher and classroom aides. Work collaboratively with the Albany City School District in implementing curriculum aligned with New York State Learning Standards. Promote a classroom of inclusion and belonging. Requirements: Minimum of Associates Degree in Early Childhood education or a related field with a written plan for certification considered. NYS Certified in Early Childhood Education (birth Grade 2) Preferred. Reliable form of transportation must be able to come to work on time.
