A NYS government agency is looking for a Technical Analyst to provide assistance in the development of an RFP to procure a new integrated and patient centric Behavioral Electronic Health Record System (EHR), as well as assist the agency in Business Process Re-engineering to meet industry standards and regulations. The estimated duration for the project is up to 24 months. Approximately one year to assist in development of RFP content and one year to assist in procurement of an EHR vendor and a business case.

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to support technical solutioning and architecture analysis for future systems
Awareness of EHR technologies and implementation patterns
Experience in Behavioral Health environment (preferred not necessary)
Previous experience of legacy system replacement projects and technical challenges (e.g. data conversion)
