Location: Albany, NY Category: Engineering Posted On: Wed Sep 4 2024 Job Description: JOB SUMMARYJob duties include but are not limited to:

Retrieving parts/pallets from the dock, in gating parts/pallets into the Crib databases or SiView inventory systems.

Responsible for stocking incoming parts/pallets, making part/pallet deliveries to the CNSE FAB's down tools and or shipping and receiving docks, and they will prepare parts to ship for cleaning and or repairs.

Assist engineers with any questions on parts for line tooling, or pallet/item deliveries for shipping and receiving. Oversee specific spreadsheets or SiView databases that are key to crib/shipping and receiving operations.

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Must have MS Windows, Word, Excel, and basic File Management experience

Must be able to perform minimal training/mentoring of new hires

Follow Return Material Authorization process

Ability to Operate SAP Applications

Ability to effectively communicate End of Shift pass downs

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift

Membership in the Emergency Response Team is a possibility

Must have the ability to work OT as needed.

Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Candidate must have good mechanical skills, excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft word and Excel, possess good written communication skills, be well organized with attention to detail, have the ability work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment as well as be available for overtime work.

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

An associate degree in a relevant technical field from a college or university accredited by the USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization; OR equivalent educational and professional experience and training associated in a highly technical/engineering environment.
