Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Albany, New York. This role involves a blend of administrative, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, maintenance, and marketing tasks in a bustling office environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the efficient handling of various financial transactions.Responsibilities: Manage daily office operations to ensure a smooth workflow Oversee the administration tasks to support the team and maintain office efficiency Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing Manage the company’s payroll, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time Oversee the maintenance of the office, ensuring a clean and safe working environment is maintained Implement and manage marketing strategies to enhance the company’s presence Utilize bookkeeping skills to maintain accurate financial records Leverage skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll to optimize office operations. Requirements Proven experience in an Office Manager role or similar administrative role Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in payroll processing and management Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in using office management software like Microsoft Office and accounting software Strong leadership and decision-making abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Experience in developing and implementing office policies and procedures.
