Location: Albany – hybrid work schedule will be mandatory – resource must be onsite 3 days per week Job Duties • Understand and document business goals and technical specifications.• Understand and document personas and UX research reports.• Generate sitemaps and information architecture.• Develop experience maps, user journeys and user flows.• Build UX wireframes.• Build interactive prototypes.• Create visual designs.• Generate style-guides and specifications for developers.• Perform usability testing and generate usage analytics reports. Required Qualifications

5+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design.
Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and others.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces.
Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and comparable languages.
Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with uses and development staff.
Experience creating storyboards and website mapping

Preferred Qualifications

Prior work with New York State
