Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper position in Albany, New York. In this role, you will be working in the finance industry and your key responsibilities will include overseeing financial records, processing transactions, and resolving financial inquiries. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, and operating expenses Verify the accuracy of general ledger coding and process accounts payable and receivable invoices Conduct cost analyses and participate in monthly variance analysis for each department Assist with the settlement of events and sponsor contracts Facilitate internal and external audits Manage insurance records and ensure their accuracy Monitor accounts receivable and payable and perform check runs Handle all other duties as assigned within the scope of this role.Requirements EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:· Associate’s degree in accounting for finance is preferred· 3 to 5 years work related experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: · Knowledge of general and cost accounting· Excellent math skills; high aptitude for numerical data· Communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability· Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is requiredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
