Accounting Clerk

Description The Senior Account Clerk independently manages routine clerical tasks related to maintaining financial accounts and records, and assists with more complex and responsible aspects of this work. This role involves applying standard clerical accounting practices to maintain and review financial accounts and records. While the work is typically routine, it requires accuracy and attention to detail. The Senior Account Clerk operates under general supervision, following clearly defined procedures. Supervisors are available for guidance on unusual issues and provide instructions for new or challenging assignments. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that is located in Albany NY.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with billing procedures Strong data entry skills Experience in invoice processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Oracle software Experience with QuickBooks Familiarity with SAP software Understanding of general accounting principles Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills.
