Maintenance Support Worker FT Job Closing: Jun 12, 2024 Job Code: 37-2011.00 Salary Level: $15.02 – $19.26Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt Location: Senior CenterDepartment: Office For the Aging Reports To: Maintenance Support SupervisorTelecommute: No Fleet: YesSUMMARY: The Maintenance Support Worker will be required to perform physical labor outdoors, using a variety of equipment, in winter and summer weather conditions. This position will serve the southern portion of Akwesasne. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Exhibit a friendly and courteous manner when dealing with employees and fellow vendors.

Strong communication skills with management and clients.

Shoveling, plowing, and mowing client’s homes.

Cleaning and organizing garage/inventory.

Perform repairs in/at client’s homes.

Perform minor repairs on equipment and facilities.

Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.

Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.

Operate a variety of equipment including mowers, tractors, snow plows, and other machinery and equipment.

Capable of building to code.

Maintain accurate records/documents associated with your work.

Conduct periodic surveys and inspections of the vehicles and ensure that they are up to par to maximize productivity.

Must have basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply in all units of measurement.

Must have basic computer skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisor requirements for this position,QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
