Oure company needs to hire an Organizer / Personal Assistant. We have a house, a warehouse, and seven storage lockers full of art, furniture, memorabilia, photographs, and trash. Over the next year, we need to get rid of the trash and sell half of our collections. We’ll pay you to catalog our items and either donate them to museums or sell them at auction.
What we need is an Organizer / Personal Assistant who’s curious and wants to learn about the art market. This is not a hobby. If you can’t concentrate, please don’t apply. If you can concentrate, and enjoy being productive, there’s enough work here to keep you busy for at least three years.
You’ll travel to auctions, art shows, galleries, and museums. You’ll also do mundane work like paying bills, and contacting health care and insurance companies. You’ll deal with contractors, electricians, locksmiths, security companies, and web designers. If you’re proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, and Planoly, that will help. If you like to learn, and bring genuine enthusiasm to what you do, we’ll pay a premium for what you bring to the position .
This is not a side hustle, a remote job, or a part-time position. It’s a full-time job. We can afford a skilled candidate. If you’ve already spent time in the art market, or in interior design, you’ll be rewarded for your experience. You won‘t be paid by the hour. You’ll get a monthly salary.
