Are you a well rounded, experienced and skilled woodworker with a passion for quality craftsmanship and a collaborative spirit? Look no further! Timbernaut, an up and coming, innovative woodwork and design shop, is seeking skilled artisans to join our team.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
Previous shop experience, as well as on-site installation experience are essential.
Familiarity and comfortability with both shop tools and hand tools a must (applicant should have their own hand tools).
Supervisor or foreman experience a bonus.
Must have meticulous attention to detail—We prioritize quality and won’t tolerate short-cuts, lazy work or corner cutting.
Must be organized and willing and able to keep neat within a shared space.
Collaboration is key; we work closely with each other and our clients.
Creativity and clever problem solving skills a plus, as is experience with other mediums besides wood.

We're seeking individuals who embody warmth, friendliness, and a team-oriented mindset. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are essential.
Applicant should have a strong work ethic, display honesty and integrity, and be self directed.
Must be able to ask questions when instructions aren’t clear, as well as have the ability to receive critique/suggestions and take direction (arrogance has no home here).
Compatibility with our existing team members is crucial—Timbernaut is a female lead business.

Job Details and Compensation:
Immediate openings for a high-end cabinetry project and an interior airstream build-out.
Full or part-time availability is welcome (If part time, 3-4 days/week is our preference).
This position is as a 1099 independent contractor and must carry your own Worker’s Comp.
Trial period pay starts at $25-$30/hr based on experience.
Possible pay raise after a 3-month trial period, or the completion of a project, depending on circumstances.
