Media and Vinyl Record Archivist looking for a part-time intern who loves music and records.

If you enjoy learning, processing music, vinyl records, movies, books, media and exploring the
vastness of world culture, this is your sign to work with us and our library of records and physical media.
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning/processing LP’s and other media
- Cataloging extensive record library
- Digital transfers of physical media
- Database management
- Occasional errands and remedial tasks pertaining to the collection
Trial period of 3 weeks unpaid apprenticeship, followed by paid employment dependent on
evaluation of competency. Interim apprenticeship period will be compensated with trade credit
for records and other media from the collection.
We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, stellar communication skills, and a
strong desire to work with and learn about physical media. Experience with online stores and/or media preservation is a plus.
This could be perfect for a student of music or archiving, as well as a beginner-collector wanting
to learn organization and preservation. Must have reliable transportation and commit to at least 10 hours a week to start.
