Must have:
Valid Drivers License
Level 1, 2 or 3 Guard Card issued by the state of New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and or escort violators from premises if necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations calmly and professionally
