Downtown Santa Fe Art Gallery looking for Part Time sales associate to work Mondays and Tuesdays 10am-5/6pm as well as occasionally during busy times and helping occasionally at private evening events. Parking included.
Duties:
1. Provide professional sales help to clients.
2. Assist clients with their art purchases.
3. Assist gallery owners and gallery director with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
4. Noting weekly sales.
5. Light packing and shipping as needed.
6. Light Social Media posting as needed.
7. Keeping the gallery looking its best: light vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, organizing as needed.
Qualifications:
1. This is a high-end gallery so an applicant must present themselves in a professional manner and be able to work confidently with VIP clientele.
2. The candidate must be comfortable with occasionally working by themselves in the gallery.
3. The candidate must be friendly and process excellent communication skills in face-to-face interactions, over the phone and via email.
4. Knowledge of Fine Art, Ceramics, Glass Art, and Jewelry is a plus.
5. Must be a lover of art and be able to enthusiastically share that passion with clients.
