Looking for someone to act as local project assistant for a property renovation in Santa Fe. The ideal candidate will have a good artistic eye for design and will contribute ideas for the renovation, but also be proactive, sharp and detail oriented, with good communication skills and the ability to be able to anticipate problems and complete tasks with very little guidance. I will be remote/off-site most of the time so I'll be relying on you for updates.
The position is very part time (5-10 hours per week) - flexibility is important, but we can work around your schedule as well. Responsibilities will vary and range from simple errands and tasks to research and assistance with this and other rental property.
Requirements:
- own car/truck with license/insurance
- located in Santa Fe
- email and internet savvy
- own laptop with internet access (preferably MAC)
- Detail oriented and able to complete tasks
- Honesty and reliability is top priority
Responsibilities:
- Contacting and coordinating bids for project work
- Interacting with vendors and sub-contractors while work is being completed
- Running errands (i.e. Home Depot, Floor & Decor, etc.)
- Emails
- Managing a short term rental property (coordinating, picking up supplies, contacting repair people)
- Researching and purchasing items online
- Tracking expenses/budget
- Contributing design ideas and furnishing ideas
Pay will start at $20/hour for the first 30 days for evaluation at which point performance and pay will be reassessed. Hours are part time (5-10 per week to start) with occasional weekend work.
Dress is casual, but grooming and appearance are important.
