We are looking for a landscaper/groundskeeper to take care of 10-12 vacation rental properties.
Your Day to Day includes:
Weekly scheduled landscape maintenance on Monday, Tuesday, and the first Wednesday of each month
Short work shift allowing for other jobs or work
Removal of fallen leaves and debris
Weeding and mulching landscape beds
Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
Removing small unwanted, dead or damaged trees
Watering gardens and planters and checking irrigation systems
Monitoring and maintaining plant health
Checking and refilling rodent bait stations
Special assignments on a frequent basis for new properties being added to our portfolio
Snow Removal
Fall and Spring clean-ups that are coordinated with our Operations Team.
Work Location: multiple locations
Part Time/Year-round $25-35/ Hourly Compensation (commensurate with skill and experience)
Current Spring/Summer/Fall hours are approx 35 hrs per MONTH.
Current Winter hours are approx 28 hrs per MONTH.
These may increase over time as new properties are added.
Plus winter snow removal.
Plus the flat rate of $30 per property for Rodent bait stations all year.
We are looking for someone who possesses the following professional skills:
Ability to work alone with little supervision.
Knowledge of trees, perennials, and shrubs.
Strong familiarity with landscaping equipment and power tools.
Experience performing Spring and Fall clean-ups, mulching etc.
Knowledge of irrigation maintenance and installation preferred.
Qualifications and Job Details
Experience: 1 year minimum (Required)
Monday, Tuesday, and first Wed of each month availability, plus emergency show removal (required)
Driver's License (required)
This is a 1099 Contract Position (Must have Taxpayer ID #)
Reliable Transportation and insurance (required)
Have your own tools: Leaf blower, Pruner, Lopper, Rakes, Shovels, etc. (required)
