Crew Member Position Description
Seasonal, full time, AmeriCorps member, August 11th, 2025 until November 14, 2025 (450 hour AmeriCorps Term).
18 – 25.
Conservation Crews will work to safely complete conservation projects in their communities. Project will include Hazardous Fuel Reduction-chainsaw work, trail work, fencing, invasive species removal, historic preservation, and other community improvement work. All Corpsmembers will receive both personal and professional development training such as First Aid/CPR, Mental Health First Aid, financial management, and public speaking skills. Perform service work with pride and determination on all projects as part of a team. Actively participate in daily check-ins and educational training sessions.
Spike (Camping) schedule is Tuesday-Tuesday, 7:00am-5:30pm, camping at the project site. Spike (Camping) is 8 days on shift followed by 6 days off. Occasional day work schedule as projects require.
Compensation: $1,220.00 (before taxes) paid biweekly. $1,956 Education Award upon successful completion of 450 hour AmeriCorps Service Term.
