Help Wanted for Care of Horses
Job duties include feeding hay to horses, mucking stalls and outdoor arena, occasionally filling water trough, moving hay bales when necessary, replacing shavings in stalls, grooming horses and walking them on property for exercise.
Location is a private, rural setting. The person will be working by him or herself. Owner will teach the routine and be available for questions when needed.
The ideal candidate is someone who has horse experience, enjoys being with horses, likes the outdoors,
and is willing to groom and take them for walks periodically during the week.
The job requires the person to have transportation, to be responsible, show up in the morning and evening to take care of horses, and to be able to work in inclement weather such as snow. Some english is necessary to communicate with owner. One or two references are required.
Compensation:
Four Days a Week, $50.00 per day, for approximately 2.5 hours of work a day. (Owner will pay cash if necessary)
$50.00 per day includes:
Morning Shift: arrive sometime between 7:00 am and 8:00 am), and complete tasks in 45 minutes to one hour.
Evening Shift: arrive sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m/ and complete tasks in 45 minutes to one hour.
Work duties also include walking the horses on the property, approximately three to five times per week for about 30 minutes each time. Exercising/walking horses can be done during after the morning feeding or before the evening feeding.
