Ten Thousand Waves Japanese Spa Resort is hiring an organized and adaptable individual to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The on-site Human Resources Assistant role reports to the HR Director and works with the entire HR team as well as with managers and employees throughout the company.
This position requires a responsible candidate with a minimum of 2 years HR experience and a proficient skill set to complete a range of administrative and interpersonal tasks in a unique work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration
HR Systems Management and Administration
Generate and maintain internal reports; complete and file regular state and federal compliance reports
Maintaining, updating, and creating forms and templates
Administrative processing, personnel data entry
Composing emails, correspondence, and event announcements
Interacting with staff across the company in person, over the phone, and via email
Assist with company events and training; other projects as assigned
Competencies and Requirements:
High level of discretion, proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Accurate, organized, punctual, detail-oriented, and proficient in meeting deadlines
Fluent computer skills (Windows/PC): Excel, Word, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits administration portals
The ability to take initiative, utilize strategic thinking, and employ a growth mindset
Professional people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
The Ideal Candidate also has:
Hospitality industry work experience
Experience with OneDrive, Scribe, iSolved, Airtable, Zapier, Typeform, and/or other automation tools
A good sense of humor and can keep a positive outlook in an energetic environment
Physical Demands
Must be able to work in a seated, stationary position for long periods of time at a computer. Must be able to frequently walk up and down stairs and over uneven terrain across the property (indoors and outdoors). Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Salary: $28.00 per hour
