SUCHNESS dining room is seeking a professional Line Cook to join our team on a part-time basis (Friday and Saturday shifts). SUCHNESS is a casual, fine-dining restaurant consisting of a small team of restaurant professionals focused on quality, creativity, and consistency. For more, visit www.suchnessdiningroom.com

The line cook role plays a crucial part in our kitchen operations preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You'll work directly with Chef Kevin Sousa to ensure that every plate meets our standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

Key responsibilities include

Food Prep: Efficiently prepare ingredients and components for various dishes, following recipes and standard operating procedures.

Cooking: Execute various cooking techniques for all dishes

Plating and Presentation: Assemble and present dishes attractively, paying attention to detail and restaurant standards.

Station Management: Manage assigned cooking stations during service, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and timely production of food.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and taste, conducting regular quality checks throughout service.

Collaboration: Work closely with the FOH and BOH team to ensure smooth service and communication during busy shifts.

Sanitation: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Inventory and Stocking: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including receiving supplies as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen, preferably in a casual fine-dining environment.

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety practices, and culinary terminology.

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
