Cafecito seeks a dedicated and experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to lead our front-of-house team and collaborate closely with the Owners and Chef. As we prepare to expand into evening service, we need a leader who is passionate about hospitality, team building, and creating exceptional dining experiences.
This role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Cafecito’s growth and help shape it into one of Santa Fe’s premier casual dining destinations.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations for all services, including dinner service expansion.
Manage opening/closing procedures, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to provide exceptional guest service.
Ensure smooth service flow, FOH-BOH coordination, and efficiency.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food regulations.
Handle guest relations, addressing feedback and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Collaboration with the Chef & Owners
Work closely with the Chef & Owners to align menu execution, service strategy, and operations.
Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and budgeting to maintain financial efficiency.
Develop creative strategies for events, seasonal promotions, and new hospitality experiences.
Community Engagement & Business Growth
Build and strengthen relationships with local food producers, culinary schools, and industry professionals.
Leverage social media and marketing initiatives to promote Cafecito.
Attend networking events, farmers markets, and food festivals to expand our presence.
Partner with local businesses to co-host events and cross-promote offerings.
Engage with regular customers and the Santa Fe community to foster loyalty and word-of-mouth growth.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of hospitality or food service management experience (café, bistro, or casual dining preferred).
A strong leader with excellent communication and team-building skills.
Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, and cost control.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality best practices.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
