To learn more, visit www.sharecare.com .Job Summary The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is primarily responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and supporting advanced Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service, and experience supporting critical enterprise-grade BI solutions. Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Process Improvement methodologies, Agile Development, MPP platforms and PostgreSQL plus.Essential Job Functions:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.

Develop, implement, and optimize DAX calculations and Power Query transformations.

Manage and maintain Power BI datasets, dataflows, and workspaces.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure BI solutions meet business needs and drive decision-making.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Power BI solutions.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity within BI solutions.

Implement best practices for Power BI development, including version control and documentation.

Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and team members on Power BI usage and capabilities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and updates.

Specific Skills/Attributes: The Senior BI Developer should have expertise in various technologies needed to implement and support BI solutions. The candidate must have expertise with Power BI and related Microsoft tools like Power Automate and Power Apps. Exposure to other BI and database technologies is also a plus in our diverse technical environment.Specific  desired  technical skills include:

Advanced Power BI development (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service)

Data Warehouse / BI Solution Design

Dimensional Modeling

Analytics / OLAP Cube/Tabular Development (Microsoft SSAS and MDX/DAX)

Report Development (Microsoft Power BI)

Experience working in an MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) database a plus (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, PDW/APS)

Relational Database and SQL Language (T-SQL and PostgreSQL)

Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes

Exposure to HDInsights, Hadoop, Polybase, Tableau tools a plus

Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow automation and app development

Other skills and abilities include:

Ability to understand information quickly, derive insight, synthesize information clearly and concisely, and devise solutions

Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated self-confidence, honesty, and integrity

Ability to travel as business needs require (expected <5%)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Master’s degree a plus

5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies, particularly Power BI

Experience working on BI development teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
