Description We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of financial recordkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the financial health and success of our organization.Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.

Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and account balances.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Provide support during audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and address accounting-related inquiries.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and bookkeeping.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

CPA certification or relevant professional certification is a plus.
