By supporting the various aspects of the product teams, you will enable teams to focus their time on designing, building and shipping products. You will improve team communication, collaboration and remove roadblocks. Finally, you'll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to grow team culture, industry expertise and team impact, and you'll have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams as you establish great ways of working together.Required Skills: Design Program Manager Responsibilities:

Identify and drive company-level product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, difficult or competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts

Influence the appropriate stakeholders and lobby for new ideas

Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate strategically for self and others

Identify, define and manage multi-team strategic initiatives that build capacity to extend impact, often driving best practices for the discipline

Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives and establish clear next steps and owners while resolving blocks that impede progress Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams

Sought out as a respected expert to the product team and a trusted leader across the company, mentoring and sharing expertise with team members. Communicate persuasively to motivate the right audience and ensure communication loops are established to get buy-in and feedback

Proactively problem solve, delegate and distribute information effectively

Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption

Scale programs and initiatives beyond organization and delegate effectively with clear expectations

Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships and contracts

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management or related experience

Experience in talent management and working with HR/Recruiting to retain and foster a healthy ecosystem for the DPM and Design disciplines

Experience proactively handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with creative teams on large scale 0 to 1 projects from concept to execution

Experience as key stakeholder working with product leaders to define teams or programs from roadmapping through delivery

Experience working directly with cross-functional leaders and building programs for product designers, user experience researchers and content designers

Track record of operating and influencing independently and without oversight

Experience leading product or business strategy in a fast-paced environment

Experience managing vendors and contractors

Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
