As part of an outstanding team of scientists and business professionals at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll do important work, like helping customers advance their Radiation Safety Programs through addition of the latest technology and systems.Within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Chemical Analysis Division, you will have a real-world impact by leading all aspects of the sales process in a multi-state sales territory for our North American Radiation Detection Instruments portfolio.Location Specific Information:The customer territory this role will be covering is New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Texas.A Day in the Life:

Serve as the lead relationship manager for customers within assigned territory.

Schedule/coordinate face to face technical interactions with customers in search of identifying and delivering Product and Service solutions to our customer’s workplace challenges.

Lead product demonstrations and deliver customer presentations as required.

Meet or exceed established sales goals by delivering bookings and revenue commitments in accordance with business unit targets.

We build and implement strategies and tactical plans to drive growth and product vitality.

Communicate bookings outlook and forecasts to management and the broader organization to ensure optimized business unit performance.

We drive collaboration and accountability through improved sales pipeline and forecast management processes by using sales tools like Salesforce, Linked In Navigator, etc.

Attend Industry Trade Shows and Seminars as required for the purpose of enhancing customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and acquiring strategic industry knowledge.

Manage and drive Sales performance of distributors and ‘value added re-sellers’ of our products and services.

Keys to SuccessEducation:

Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Physics, Health Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Nuclear Engineering, or, has Business-related BS/BA degree with Nuclear/Radiation experience.

Experience:

Experienced in Technical Product Sales to US Nuclear/Radiation Protection customers in the Federal Government, Nuclear Power/Department of Energy, State/Local Law Enforcement, Fire Protection and Civil Support markets.

Proficient analytical skills; ability to make observations from market trends and demand.

Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills.

Comfortable leading discussions, giving presentations in-person or remotely.

Business travel up to 50% or more as needed within the sales region.

Resides within the primary sales territory (Southwest or Western US desired).

Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in New Mexico is $63,900.00–$95,850.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
