We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team as a seasonal employee with potential for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both electrical and mechanical knowledge, along with experience in facilities maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
Assist in the fabrication of components as needed for various projects.
Supervise minor repair projects and coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Document maintenance activities and report any issues that require further attention.
Must be able to climb a ladder up to two stories
Must have a CPO license to maintain pool standards
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential.
Familiarity with residential painting and fabrication processes is beneficial.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong supervisory skills when required.
