Nature-based Preschool Teacher, 2 days/week

Now Hiring a part-time nature-based preschool teacher; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30-3:30. Work with an ensemble of talented teachers in a low-ratio preschool setting with children ages 18 months to 5. We are majority outdoors in all weather. Job responsibilities include maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment, providing clear, calm direction, co-leading circle, story and lunch time, supervision and guidance of free play, lifting and carrying children, changing diapers or providing bathroom help, and supporting an afternoon nap or rest routine for the children. Pay range begins at $19/hr DOE. Scheduled to work 45 weeks a year (scheduled vacation aligns largely with Santa Fe Public Schools for winter and spring breaks, calendar continues through summer, but closed the first week of July). Paid sick leave and paid time off. Background check required. Minimum two years experience or education in the field of early childhood education.
