Project Coordinator
Position Overview:
Prull Custom Builders is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of residential custom construction projects. The Project Coordinator plays a key role in organizing project information, coordinating communication between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, and ensuring all documentation processes are aligned with project goals and timelines. This position is critical to maintaining project efficiency, client satisfaction, and quality standards from pre-construction through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist project supervisors and the Operations Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of custom home construction projects.
Serve as a primary point of contact for project supervisors regarding construction scheduling updates, change order preparation details, material selections, client decisions, and documentation.
Co-manage and track project schedules and deadlines, project documentation related to sub-contractor bids, research, and communication using construction management software (Buildertrend).
Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and the completion of tasks.
Organize and maintain project documentation, including permits, drawings, selections, specifications, and contracts.
Facilitate client selection and maintain accurate records of finishes, fixtures, and materials.
Providing material take-off calculations for vendor estimates and material procurement.
Support the change order process by documenting scope modifications.
Prepare and distribute progress updates and follow-up action items.
Monitor job-site progress through reports, photos, and regular communication with site supervisors.
Assist in punch list management and project closeout tasks.
Help ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
Qualifications:
Multi-year experience as residential project coordinator, project administration, or a related role (custom residential preferred).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
Familiarity with residential construction processes, terminology, and materials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (Buildertrend, Bluebeam).
In conjunction with manual take-off experience, preferably using Bluebeam.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate project records.
Self-motivated, flexible, and team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
Thorough understanding of architectural drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of building systems, construction materials, and methods.
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Job Benefits:
Full-time, “Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience”.
