Our team is passionate about helping clients through difficult times and achieving justice on their behalf.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of California personal injury law, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate support to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury files from intake through settlement or trial.Draft legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.Order, review, and summarize medical records and bills.Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and experts.Prepare and file court documents and maintain case deadlines (state and federal).Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including preparation of exhibits, trial binders, and witness coordination.Maintain detailed and organized electronic case files using case management software.Coordinate with lien holders and negotiate medical liens when applicable.Qualifications:Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a paralegal in a plaintiff personal injury setting.Knowledge of California civil procedure, court filing systems, and litigation timelines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software (e.g., Clio, Filevine, Needles, or similar).Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required.Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
