The Level 3 Tech Associate will join the team handling specialized requests for support of software / hardware that is not supported by the regular IT support group. Duties include:
- Putting OS on client laptops / desktops / tablets, configuration of laptops / desktops / tablets and client data migration
- Advanced break-fix support of software / hardware issues for clients
- Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database
- Flexibility required and the willingness to change directions within an hour, sometimes less
- Travel between buildings required daily
- Ability to work in a team dynamic and backfill for team members
- Ability to train and backfill for partner IT groups, including service centers, audiovisual departments, and others
- Excellent communication skills required, as the associate will have frequent interactions with clients in person and also via phone / email / IM
- 3-5 years of technical experience desired
- A+ certification required within 90 days of start date
- Windows / Linux imaging
- Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting
- Basic server imaging with limited troubleshooting
- Basic Linux OS troubleshooting.
- Basic printer support and troubleshooting
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
- May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods
- Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8, and 10
