Senior Financial Accountant

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team, driving success for local businesses through innovative financial solutions. We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to help deliver accurate financial reporting, process improvements, and strategic insights that support the growth of the company.What You’ll Do:Prepare and deliver timely, accurate consolidated accounts, overseeing month-end processes with a focus on reconciliations and accounting standards.Monitor and analyse revenue and cost centres, offering insights into variances and behaviors.Compile management accounts and board packs, providing relevant commentary on performance, trends, and budget comparisons.Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury-related reporting.Drive process improvements, including automation of data entry and designing internal controls to enhance efficiency.Review the work of others and contribute to the development of the team.Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and external reporting obligations (AFSL, APRA, BAS, FBT).Lead external audits and engage with auditors.Participate in ad hoc project tasks as required.
