Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Location: Carlsbad, Lovington, and Hobbs, NM
Pay: $60/hour + per diem + housing provided

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support our construction projects by preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure-related electrical projects and will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure competitive and complete bid proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and electrical drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for electrical scopes of work.
Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotes.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.
Prepare bid packages and proposals in a timely and organized manner.
Work with project teams to transition awarded projects from estimate to execution.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, job walks, and client discussions as needed.
Maintain and update historical cost databases and unit price records.
Requirements:
Proven experience in electrical estimating (3+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices.
Proficiency in estimating software (such as Accubid, McCormick, or similar).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites if necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
