Bartender and Custodian / Prep Cook (Las Cruces, NM)
The Las Cruces Lodge of Elks, a private club located at 3000 Elks Drive in Las Cruces, is seeking qualified, high energy, and dedicated individuals to join our team! We are seeking these individuals to become a part of our family.
All applicants must be able to pass a background check.
Applicants for the "Bartender" positions must be experienced, alcohol certified by the State of New Mexico, have a good knowledge of basic alcoholic beverage recipes, be comfortable working with a point of sale computer system, be tolerant of loud music, capable of lifting 50 pounds, capable of diffusing conflict, work well with others, and provide excellent customer service.
Applicants for "Custodian / Prep Cook" positions must be willing and able to perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to:
o Cooking Assistance and Food Preparation
o Sweep and Mop all areas of the facility
o Vacuum all carpeted areas
o Set up and tear down ballroom, Lodge room, lounge area for various functions
o Clean ballroom, Lodge room, lounge area after each function
o Short order cooking and other kitchen work
o Keep all glass windows and doors clean
o Keep bathrooms stocked and cleaned.
o Unclog toilets and sinks if clogged
o Perform light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, installing/repairing paper and soap dispensers
o Other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
o Must be able to work late hours on occasion
