Project Manager

Description We are offering a position within the construction industry in Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States. The role is centered around project management, specifically for construction projects. This involves a range of tasks from managing the entirety of assigned projects to coordinating work with various departments. The job offers a contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities include: Verifying eligibility of recipients and guiding them through application processes for grants/loans Staying abreast of program guidelines, construction codes, regulations, and financial operations Assisting in meeting environmental review standards and conducting property assessments Managing procurement processes, preparing and disseminating bid documents, and conducting bid openings Administering contracts, documents, project funding, and expenditures Monitoring construction progress and maintaining comprehensive documentation Preparing and submitting detailed reports Using skills in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, About Time, Budget Processes, Construction, Customer Service, and Deliverable Delegating tasks to supervised staff and approving expenditures within assigned authority. Requirements Candidate must possess at least 3+ years of experience in the role of a Project Manager.Must have Covid vaccine Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira is necessary. Experience with CRM systems is required. Familiarity with Database management is essential. Knowledge and experience with EO/IR systems is important. Proficiency in IBM tools is required. Experience with the 'About Time' system is necessary. Understanding of Budget Processes in project management is required. Background in construction projects is a plus. Superior Customer Service skills are essential. The ability to ensure timely project deliverables is a must. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary. The ability to work in a team environment and lead teams effectively is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure are necessary. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills are a must.
