AL : A is a small, progressive, architectural design firm based in downtown Las Cruces, New Mexico. Guided by the art of architecture and principles of craft and innovation, AL : A designs homes and buildings that inspire and resonate with their place.
We are seeking an intermediate level Project Manager with a passion for great “design”, its execution, and the craft of construction. The position offers a key role in the firm working on building projects of various scales.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Architecture (minimum requirement)
An inherent curiosity and motivation to always continue learning within the complexities of the building design and
construction process
Strong project management skills for an efficient workflow and the ability to multi-task and work on multiple
projects and design phases simultaneously
5 – 8 years broad experience relative to the Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction
Documents and Construction Administration phases
Strong verbal communication skills, a sense of humor and a desire to contribute to a small, dynamic design firm
High proficiency with Autocad and Revit
Proficiency with Sketchup, Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator
Proficiency with 3D modeling/rendering software a strong plus
Proficiency with Microsoft applications
Interior Design experience a strong plus
LEED AP certification a strong “plus”
