We are seeking an experienced commercial construction Superintendent to join our team! SGS, LLC is an Oklahoma based General Contractor / Design-Builder. We currently have an opening for qualified personnel on our commercial construction projects located at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Involved in all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation

Ability to plan for and assign resources as applicable for projects

Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors

Management/Enforcement of SGS’s Safety Program and Security Policies

Coordination and scheduling of all Subcontractors and/or Vendors

Recruitment and efficient management of all on-site SGS workmen

Maintaining inventory and efficient management control of tools and equipment

Conduct regular progress and/or coordination meetings with trade subcontractors

Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, etc.

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects

Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; preferred

OSHA 30-Hour and CPR/First Aid certifications; required

Familiar with requirements of the EM 385 1-1, 2014 version

40Hr EM385-1-1 Certification; preferred

24Hr Fall Protection Competent Person Certification; preferred

Require knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, requires applicants to be of able body to assist in performing certain portions of the work, and to manage and schedule subcontractors

Experience in working with and understanding Primavera project schedules is a plus

Experience with USACE RMS software

Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction means and methods

Strong leadership qualities

Deadline and detail-oriented
