Job DescriptionA Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of the in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. The RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient. This a 12 station clinic with a team consisting of a Nursing Manager and 2 PCTs per shift.Schedule: Full-time, three 12-hour shifts starting at 5:00am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.Responsibilities include:Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are metPerform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and proceduresOngoing patient education, training and health coachingMonitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and familiesAdminister and chart all prescribed medicationsFollow CDC/CMS infection control regulationsParticipate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviewsDocument required patient education effortsFacilitate continuity of care with local hospitalsAssist in medication inventory maintenanceLead a small patient care teamContribute to onboarding new staff members as directedWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
