Vice President Foreign Exchange The Vice President Foreign Exchange is responsible for maintaining Comerica Bank's corporate customer relationships. This position conducts sales and marketing to FX clients and prospects to maximize non-interest income spread and fee potential commensurate with credit, market and pricing model risk established per each client in conjunction with the overall bank relationship manager. This role will also directly quote prices to the customer and commit the bank to off-balance sheet risks. This position will actively and independently manage a defined book of business and develops new sales opportunities for both existing bank clients and prospects that have significant business potential and complexity. Position Responsibilities Actively manage a defined and prospective base of clients to generate new business and to maximize non-interest income (NII) commensurate with bank risk appetite. Maintain risk control of customer and FX positions and all trade offset management. Develop expertise in all trading room systems, operations and accounting system updates. Direct collaboration with RM's within your coverage area for training and new business development for FX. Maintain a high level of accuracy for all trades to limit bank's exposure due to input error. Adhere to bank's overall goals toward credit policies and risk management, keeping records up-to-date. Consistently adhere to the banks know your Customer (KYC) and Anti money Laundering (AML) goals and policies per bank Risk Discretion policies. Maintain and report Risk Control, credit controls, error resolution, etc. General administrative duties as needed. Support FX management with reporting, special assignments, etc., as needed. Comply with the bank's KYC and AML goals and policies per bank's discretionary operating standards. Perform general administrative duties, as needed. Assist senior GCM staff in structuring risk management strategies/programs for clients seeking to mitigate FX risk. Additional information: GCM - FX engages in the following documentation and systems: FX Master and ISDA documentation, US regulatory compliance documentation (ECP, GMEI), recap interpretation and credit approval requirements, foreign exchange markets, foreign exchange payments, KYC, AML, ECIS knowledge, Spectrum, Reuters, Comerica eFX, FX pricing, and transaction system input. Experience in market risk analytics is helpful. Knowledge of derivative risk management and pricing systems and analytics on Bloomberg is also helpful.
