Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling tailored to client needs

Complete intake/screening and comprehensive assessment processes per standards

Determine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessments

Develop individualized, evolving treatment plans aligned with regulatory standards

Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings, providing case feedback

Ensure authorized services are approved and adequate information is provided promptly

Document services accurately and within appropriate timeframes

Assist clients through transition processes and complete final documentation

Complete all mandatory training per regulatory and agency standards

Represent the agency professionally within the community

Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers

Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as needed

Provide professional/clinical supervision to individuals in training

Facilitate group counseling, education, family therapy, and individual sessions

Provide training and guidance on clinical issues and evidence-based practices

Offer clinical consultation to treatment team members as necessary

Demonstrate commitment to the company's long-term and short-term goals

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Willingness to become licensed in additional states

Comfortable providing telehealth services (training provided)

Additional Qualifications:

Training and expertise in diagnostic criteria for substance use and mental health disorders

Thorough knowledge of caseload management, rehabilitation methods, and treatment principles

Detailed understanding of challenges faced by individuals with mental health/substance use disorders

Knowledge of methods, modalities, legal requirements, and court procedures related to treatment

Expertise in supervisory and training techniques for mental health/substance use disorder settings

Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned programs

Proficient in reading, interpreting documents, and writing reports

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to establish effective relationships via telephone/telehealth and in-person

Ability to follow directions and accept supervision
