Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and corresponding remediation techniques for each Description:Looking for an Application Technical Analyst to help support an ongoing demand for application modernization. EAS Application Factory works as an enterprise service supporting various app owners when it comes to modernizing the applications. A technical analyst is a mix of a technical business analyst but not quite a software engineer. The team is looking for an individual that can come in, hit the ground running filling out the technical portion of an intake form for modernization, creating technical documents based on the understanding we have from the business, speaking technical jargon to application owners, and efficiently documenting the process. This job is not hands on technical and there will not be any querying. The technology environment which is good to have a similar background is Azure, Confluence, Jira, Ping Single Sign on, Microsoft stack such as Windows SQL Server, etc. Day to day, you will work with the app modernization team as well as application owners on their app mod journey. There are 2-3 applications in the pipeline now that would like to be modernized and funded through the app owner. You will assist the application owners with the technical piece of the intake process and communicating how their application will be modernized. Helping the application owner understand all of the technical tools being utilized for long term support as well as their cloud and single sign on technical environments. Liaison between application owners and ATE (Application Transformation Engineering) dependent teams (e.g. XetaCloud, XetaDev, EAS, etc.) to facilitate communication and collaboration Understand application business and technical requirements to deliver solutions that align with project deliverables Onboard and setup ATE dependent processes (e.g. XetaCloud, XetaDev, CLARA, ATO) Conduct in-depth analysis of in-scope applications to understand their architecture, complexity, functionality, and interdependencies for comprehensive understanding and actionable insights Understand unit, system, and integration testing scenarios to ensure the robustness and reliability of applications Translate non-functional attributes of an application (e.g. resiliency, reliability, and availability) to implementable solutions Provide intake planning for in-scope application(s) to the modernization workstream Software development skills to review application architecture and code complexity including front-end, back-end, UI/UX and API Integration toolsAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
