Description Contact: [email protected] are looking for a skilled Financial Controller in FARMINGTON, Connecticut. As a crucial part of our team, you will take on the responsibility of managing our company's accounting operations, ensuring the production of accurate financial reports, and maintaining a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. Your role will be instrumental in mitigating risks, enhancing the accuracy of our financial results, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. Responsibilities include: Managing a team of accounting and finance professionals, setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and meeting deadlines Preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and presentations for local and group management Ensuring strict compliance with the company’s Accounting Manual and maintaining the internal controls framework in the business Assisting with the business strategy through the origination and production of commercial and operational reports and financial analysis Being a leading operational partner to the business with a deep analysis of cost accounting and driving towards a best-in-class operational environment Involvement in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and business plans and continued monitoring and review of performance against them Being a leading voice in the building of our ERP system upgrade to support the business Assisting the Director of Finance in respect of periodic reports to explain the processes adopted by management to review the effectiveness of internal controls Ensuring returns for Sales Tax and other relevant social taxes are submitted, payments made on time, and all relevant regulations are complied with Managing the company's working capital position, especially through the management of the inventory position and the receivables book Developing a strong relationship with the Procurement Team and ensuring that it operates based on timely and accurate forecasts of business activity Driving process improvement throughout the finance and accounting functions and working closely with the Systems Manager to identify technology solutions to drive improvements and efficiencies.Contact: [email protected] Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential Familiarity with ERP Solutions is necessary Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Auditing experience is needed Must be proficient in Budget Processes Knowledge of SAP Manufacturing is required Experience in the Manufacturing industry is necessary Supervising experience is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
