It will also act as an advisor to the Automation & Improvement Manager in developing and growing a culture of change focused on customer and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:Strategy and Planning: Review, analyse and evaluate business needs, with respect to changing financial systems, to provide digitally enabled customer-centric services. Act as the subject matter expert in financial performance and systems optimisation, including Business Intelligence (BI) and Planning tools.Operational Activities: Provide tools and systems for effective decision-making analysis, define needs, prioritize changes, build business cases, and oversee project implementation. Manage system enhancements, ensure financial data integrity, and consult with stakeholders to understand future needs.Continuous Improvement and Change - Work with the OneFinance and other finance functional teams to identify and then implement initiatives that will optimize performance via enhanced systems and automation on a continuous improvement programme.Culture, capability, development, and training - Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, deliver proactive and customer-friendly financial management, and promote a "one team" culture. Partner with management to achieve objectives and engage in training and development opportunities.This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week. The ideal salary range is $130,000-$142,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. He kōrero mōu | About youYou are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of aligning with the overarching strategies of the team and effectively implementing desired initiatives.You will have significant experience in process and system improvement, management accounting, or financial reporting within large, complex organisations. As a leading expert in financial performance and systems optimisation, you should have strong Business Intelligence (BI) and Planning tools experience. Your background includes implementing finance systems and working constructively with multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
