Job Summary: Temp - Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Landscaper to join our team. The Maintenance Landscaper will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep, and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping maintenance techniques, equipment operation, and plant care.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and pruning, to upkeep the appearance of lawns and gardens.
Plant, water, fertilize, and mulch flowers, shrubs, and trees to maintain healthy and vibrant landscapes.
Conduct pest and disease control measures to protect plants and ensure their longevity.
Clean and maintain outdoor structures, such as walkways, patios, and decks, to enhance their appearance and safety.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and sprayers, in a safe and efficient manner.
Monitor irrigation systems and adjust watering schedules as needed to ensure proper hydration of plants.
Remove debris, litter, and other waste materials from outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
Assist with landscape design and installation projects as directed by the supervisor.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries while working outdoors.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in landscaping maintenance or related field.
Knowledge of plant care techniques, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning.
Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment and tools.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required).
Certification in landscaping or horticulture (preferred but not required).
