As a General Laborer, you’re the backbone of every installation—from mounting rooftop arrays to breaking ground on solar farms. You’ll help us deliver cost-effective, sustainable energy solutions that power New Mexico’s clean-energy future.
What You’ll Do
Structural & Site Work:
Assemble carport steel structures and concrete foundations
Excavate trenches and form concrete pads
Installation Support:
Lay out and mount racking, modules, and electrical hardware per plans, manufacturer specs, and NEC code
Install EV charging stations and related infrastructure
Equipment Operation & Safety:
Operate heavy equipment and company vehicles safely
Follow all safe-work practices and wear required PPE
Quality & Professionalism:
Maintain job-site cleanliness and organization
Attend training sessions and daily briefings
Collaborate with teammates to meet schedule targets
What You Bring
Hands-On Construction Experience: Roofing, framing, concrete work, or similar
Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using power tools and working at heights
Commitment to Growth: Eager to join OE Solar’s carpentry apprenticeship program
Reliability & Integrity: Punctual, professional, and safety-minded every day
Logistics:
Valid NM driver’s license and reliable transportation
Own basic hand tools
Ability to pass a background check
