Groundwater Partners Inc. (GWP) is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

● Minimum of 10 years of experience in an excavator (larger than 30k), dozer, loader, grader, backhoe and/or other earthwork equipment
● Proven experience in grading, earthwork, trenching, excavations and dirt work with a knowledge and understanding of how to read grading stakes and grading plans
● Adheres to safety protocols, have a high regard for safety
● Able to maintain a clean and organized work and clean cab(s)
● Drug free, alcohol free during work week, non-smoker – must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing, then randoms
● Experienced in troubleshooting equipment issues (if needed) and report any equipment issues or damage to the supervisor
● Follows all relevant regulations and guidelines regarding equipment operation and safety
● Valid driver's license. (A CDL is a plus, but not required)
● Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
● Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
● Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
● A safety-conscious mindset
● Good communication and teamwork skills
● Can do, positive attitude and works well with a team
● Must be willing to travel / commute 50% to 70%
● Reports to work on time, is ready to work safely, and is willing to learn
● Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
● Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and have the physical dexterity to be able to complete the following maneuvers without issues: Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
