Job Description:
Client is currently seeking a Certified Dual Shield Welder with at least 5 years experience. Must have the relevant, recent experience, and their booklet. Candidates without their certifications and booklet will not be considered.
Millwrights will be responsible for installing conveyor systems in a new construction environment. This type of work consists of reading off blueprints, laying out material, and utilizing power tools to install/put together conveyors. Execute welding tasks using FCAW-G on various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Adhere to detailed welding procedures and specifications outlined in AWS D1.1 standards. Conduct thorough inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Keep welding equipment in optimal condition, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of welding activities, inspections, and maintenance performed. Work closely with other welders, engineers, and inspectors to ensure project specifications are met.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Certified Dual Shield Welder
Must have OSHA 10 Certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft
Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift
Detail Oriented
Adheres to all safety standards and ensured a safe work area
Performs housekeeping and general clean up duties
Reliable transportation
Work week is 60 hours (Monday-Saturday). Project will last through December 2025. Per Diem offered if travelling.
Drug test and Background Screen will be required.
