Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional barbering services, including haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming treatments.
Provide personalized haircuts and grooming services tailored to each customer's request, ensuring high-quality results surpassing chain salon experiences. (Barbers are expected to spend at least 20-30 minutes per client to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.)
Listen attentively to clients' preferences and offer expert advice in a kind and respectful manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment to uphold high hygiene standards while complying with state board.
Abide by a shared and rotating cleaning list.
Foster a welcoming and friendly environment for all clients, creating a positive experience at all times.

Requirements:
Must have a valid New Mexico barber's license.
Experience as a barber is preferred but not necessary. We are more than willing to welcome newly licensed barbers who are dedicated to growth and success.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse clientele in a friendly and respectable manner.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to receive constructive feedback (when necessary) with humility and respect, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality haircuts and services without "cutting corners."
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Benefits:
65/35 commission on every transaction. You keep all your tips daily and receive a commission paycheck weekly on Wednesday.
The option to be a 1099 employee with 60/40 commission being paid out weekly with the expectation that the barber will still abide by all listed rules and regulations both listed here and provided at the time of hire.
