POSITION SUMMARY: This position will service and install automotive vehicle lifts and equipment in automotive service shops throughout the New Mexico. May be required to travel to Colorado on occasion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Complete installation of automotive service center equipment to include:
Install/Service automotive lifts and provide courteous and efficient service to automotive dealerships and Independent Automotive shops.
Install/service air compression systems, Air tubing, air dryers, various other mounting hardware.
Install/Service pneumatic pumps, regulators, equalizing cables, micro switches, and various other lift parts.
Install/Service bulk oil delivery systems including installation of tanks, piping, and meters.
Install/Service fluid distribution systems consist of bending pipe and mounting in various capacities.
Inspect equipment for proper operations and pressure testing systems.
Maintain a safe, neat, and organized work area.
Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as requested.
Occasional team travel is required with transportation provided, per diem and hotel expenses paid.
REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Driver's License (Required) clean driving record preferred.
Poses Basic math, reading and comprehension skills.
Poses a mechanical aptitude. Mechanical inclined individuals are a plus!
The ability to operate with ladders, mechanical, electric, and standard hand tools is a must.
Ability to identify/resolve problems in a timely manner, as well as the ability to think outside of the box.
The ability to easily adapt to change based on employer and customer schedule demands.
Work well with others and in a team environment.
Must be able to travel (transportation, lodging and meals provided)
The ability to lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds is required.
Walk, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work on overhead equipment at extended heights.
Familiarity with operating mechanical lifts, and forklifts. (Employer willing to train)
Work a flexible schedule including weekends based on business needs, and travel times.
