Sales and Marketing AssociateThe PositionIdeum seeks a full-time Sales and Marketing Associate to help us contribute to our B2B marketing and sales initiatives. We design and build touch tables and multitouch displays, selling our products worldwide to museums, Fortune 500 companies, startups, labs and universities, government agencies, and more.We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with 2-3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and an interest in technology. This onsite position at our scenic Corrales, New Mexico studio will support both the marketing and sales teams, reporting directly to the Manager of Sales and Marketing, and working closely with team members across departments including hardware, design, production, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate would help us deepen the connections with our important partners and clients, and would help to grow our marketing and social media reach.ResponsibilitiesCreate engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and other digital marketing effortsAssist in organizing promotional events, both on- and off-campusCollaborate with the design and content teams for marketing collateralDirect help with inbound sales support; both via email and phoneGenerate and share quotes, sales orders, and other documentsHelps organize shipment of products with our extended team and partnersMaintain and update CRM systems with lead and customer informationSupport the sales team in lead generation, outreach, and follow-ups (we do not cold-call)Support the sales and marketing team with other duties as neededRequirementsProficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Google SuiteBasic computer skills and knowledge, particularly of the Windows platformFamiliarity with basic sales and marketing principlesFamiliarity with social media marketing content creation and strategiesDemonstrated written communication skillsExcellent verbal skillsStrong organizational skillsDependability and commitment to resultsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExtra CreditExperience with CRM softwareExperience with technical writing and/or copy editingKnowledge of PC or AV systemsExperience with Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other online advertising platformsExperience with Google AnalyticsBackground or interest in technology, engineering, or related fieldsPhotography and/or video skillsAbout IdeumWe are a multidisciplinary experience design firm specializing in emerging technologies for museums, cultural institutions, and Fortune 500 companies.
