Job Description:
We are seeking a new team member to support sales and administrative processes. This person must
provide professional, high quality and exceptional customer service for prospective and existing customers. The sales support portion of this role is responsible for lead qualification, gathering of project details and documents, data entry, scheduling, follow up and keeping the sales team on track. The admin support portion will be assisting with day-to-day tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, office management, data entry and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, has exceptional communication skills, is able to juggle multiple projects and organize many details with ease. This person should have a “go getter” attitude, be passionate about helping
customers and teammates, be adaptable to changing situations and have a willingness to learn and
succeed. They should have a strong work ethic but also like to have a little fun.
Responsibilities:
● Communicate clearly and concisely with potential customers about solar
● Educate potential customers on the benefits of going solar
● Answer inbound lead and customer phone calls, texts and emails
● Make outbound calls, texts and emails to provide lead and customer touch
points
● Follow up with prospective customers
● Follow sales processes and procedures
● Work with sales team to stay up to date on sales pipeline
● Manage customer data, interactions and sales data via the customer relationship manager (CRM)
● Work independently with minimum supervision in a quick-moving growing company.
● Continuously develop their skills and keep up with any changes in the solar industry
● Attend meetings and trainings
● Set goals with manager and strive to meet or exceed them
● Will promote Ocotillo Solar Electric in a positive light at all times
● Ensure the customer has a positive experience
● Create a positive work environment
● Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
● Has strong communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
● Is a self-starter who can complete tasks on schedule
● Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized
● Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
● Proficient in computer software systems including Google suite
● Knowledge of customer relationship management and project management software (preferred)
● Teachable and coachable
● High School diploma or equivalent, some college or college degree a plus
● Valid driver's license and has the ability to safely and legally operate a personal vehicle
● Sales Support, sales or lead generation experience (2 years preferred)
● All candidates must be willing to submit to any job related background check, fitness for duty and drug screening that are required during the hiring process.
